Where To Stay

There are accommodations for all tastes and budgets, luxury private villas to camp complexes. Hotels, listed by local tourist offices, are classified with three to five stars.

There are shuttle buses from the airports to city hotels, as well as taxi service. Bus and train routes operate daily to many cities in central Europe. In addition, there is fast ferry service to ports in Italy and Greece.

Getting Around: Taxis and car-rental services are available in towns, cities and in tourist resorts. Ships and ferries operate along the coast and toward the islands, with express service from Rijeka to Dubrovnik.
