I've stayed at the Mount Nevis twice now and absolutely love it! Hope to stay with them again this March. It's a very nice campus style hotel with 8 rooms in each building. Ask for a room with a view because it's simply stunning up there. The restaurant is wonderful. It's very quiet and peaceful there - no planned activities and not much night life - but those aren't things I require. They have a nice pool and the staff is very nice, polite and helpful with anything you need. You definitely should rent a car to get around as the hotel is set back from the ocean and about 10 minutes from town. I've stayed in the studio superior rooms that have the kitchenette. It's got the basics - stove, fridge and some cooking utensils. You'd be hard pressed to make a big meal (we made breakfast and snacks and it was just fine) as the dishes are limited - but who wants to cook and clean up with a great restaurant right there!?
