It would really not be fair to compare the two places to stay. They are not the same caliber of resort. One is a 5 star elegant resort with 5 star prices and the other is much more reasonable without the sheer elegance and pampering.

If you want to be away, and I mean away from it all, then you might want to consider Ottley's. There is nothing around it and you will definitely spend a lot of time and money on taxis getting anywhere you want to see or rent a car.

Timothy Beach is in a super location. It is beachfront to the calm Caribbean waters and is an excellent spot to swim and snorkel. It is kindof in it's own little culdesac and away from the hustle and bustle of the Frigate Bay area, but still within 10 minutes walking distance of it. Rooms are huge and have everything you need. Views of the ocean and sunsets are outstanding.

It is unfair to qualify these rooms and suites as a Day's Inn. They are individually owned units and have been specially decorated by the owners to provide you with a unique experience of beauty and comfort.

The restaurant is great, the pool is fantastic, and the location to the beach and its waters can't be beat. There are numerous places to stay on the Atlantic side as well; Island Paradise, Sealoft, Papillon, Marriott, Jack Tar, but they are all beachfront to the Atlantic which is very rough and hardly a place to swim or snorkel in.

I have no doubt that we would enjoy our stay at Ottley's if we ever wanted to splurge that much, but we love to snorkel and swim. We would spend a fortune in taxis or get real sick of driving that long distance from Ottley's. You don't want to spend too much of your vacation getting from one destination to another.

Have a super time, whichever one you pick.
