Finally, I get chance to post a message about our trip, oaky honeymoon. It was the week of Sept. 9, 2002 and I am ready to go back to the Island! We stayed at TBR and all was wonderful. The beach was rocky, but I liked that, it was easier to walk. The food and service was great!! We pretty much had the place to ourselves.
We embarked on the Spirit of St. Kitts's where my new husband proceded to get licked by Carib and the Rum Punches. May I point out the fact the trip usually carries 60 people, and we were lucky to have only 6!!! It pays to travel outside of peak season! On the way back from Nevis, the crew popped in a Jimmy Buffett CD and shared pictures and stories of their families. We discovered sand dollars and star fish...oh wait, the food....hmmmmmm, making my mouth water thinking about it. I highly recommened taking this trip no matter how many people are on board, I am sure that the crew will be great to all of you.
Marshall's was awesome!! It was good food and great service! So was the Monkey Bar on Frigate Bay. Yes, you can put those two places in the sentences next to each other! Turtle Beach was just as grand as we were able to watch a storm blow in and out within an hour!! The snorkling, anywhere, was great! Please, let me know if you need any information! My one suggestion is to pack your own snorkle gear so you can jump into the water anytime, anyplace!! Miss you already, St. Kitts!
