Hi Stan and everyone else coming to the Marriott,
Yes the Marriott is now open and all the available rooms are full!The guests I have spoken to in the casino are very happy with the hotel and are being well looked after by the staff. One lady said she felt like a VIP because the staff are so eager to please and be of service.She said she was thrilled with her room and had never slept so well.
The casino opened at 6 Saturday evening and we were all very nervous but excited.After 3 months of training this was the moment we had all been waiting for... It was a huge success and everyone enjoyed the night. The place was buzzing and the atmosphere was just great! There was a buffet and bar(of course!) and live music from a local band who were excellent.
