Finally someone else who agreed with us about the Fisherman's Wharf! They were overpriced and the service does stink, which is too bad. We too loved Marshalls and would return to PJ's as well.

Great write-up Peter. Loved what you said about letting you in the casino, you hit it right on the nose. Of course they would have let you in! These new places don't have a clue. You could have walked in and had a drink, asked to see a room and took a small tour of the resort, and just might have booked an expensive vacation for the future, spending a lot more than that drink would have cost you.

I can't believe the people in town did not know about the infamous train! Do they live under a rock? I mean the thing only goes around the entire perimeter of the island. I would have expected to see a huge sign at the airport and at the four corners, a billboard or something. They sure are pushing it on the cruise websites, and inflating the already high price too.

We love TBR and had a ball. Great, huge, immaculate rooms, with all amenities, super views, the calm waters of the Caribbean within a few steps, excellent service. Location, location, location. It is in a good one! They don't have to be stuffy about letting anyone eat or drink at their restaurant. They are doing it the right way to promote future business. Stop in for lunch, tour a room, pool, and grounds, and then book a stay at a much more reasonable price.

Glad you had a good time,

Shawn
