I have to agree with you. We've never stayed at a mega-resort like the Marriott before. Sure its beautiful and new and shiny, but my personal preferences are for somethig quite a bit smaller, say 30-70 rooms. We stayed at the Marriott because of the great pre-grand opening special. I don't need all of the pampering that will be going on there, but it was nice never-the-less. Next year its probably back to St. Martin, in a smaller hotel along Orient Beach.
