I only know that it is closed and looks
somewhat abandoned from the outside.
Someone posted awhile ago that the casino was still open.(is it?)
As tourism is apparently down,not only on St. Kitts, but around the Caribbean, and the golf course being a ways from being 18 hole functional,
then I can't see it being a prudent move to reopen anytime soon.
These are my observations/deductions.
To bad as we had stayed there alot too.
We just returned from a short week of vacation and stayed at TBR which was very adequate for us.
Very clean, friendly, and welcoming in every way.
We did not like having to always have extra $$ for every meal though.
This was NOT a fault of TBR.
We have always explored the various restaurants
on St. Kitts, but this time we were dependant on a dining out situation for every meal.
Not a real big deal, but it did feel as though we were spending money all the time on food.
We would return to every restaurant we ate at......
Sunset, Mr X, PJ's, Stonewalls, Marshall's, Frigate Bay Resort and on and on.....
I would guess that JTV would choose to re-open at the start of the high season as opposed to the end of it.
