We just returned from a wonderful week in St. Kitts. Stayed at the Marriott. This is truly an unspoiled corner of the Carribean. The people are warm and friendly, the weather was glorious even if a bit hot (in the 90's). Recommend rum punch at the Sunset cafe while you watch the sunset. Not our best dinner but a very nice spot. PJ's just steps from the Marriott for economical dinner of pizza but their pasta dishes are even better for a little more. A trip to Nevis is mandatory - Sunshine shack for killer bees and lobster is a must. Sprat Net for dinner was quite an experience. Very low key but filled with local color and great lobster and fish. Rawlins Plantation buffet lunch was a beautiful quiet retreat on the edge of the rain forest with wild birds perched at your table and lizards lounging at your feet. Marshall's was the most elegant dinner and the food was very good. The Marriott is spectacular even though most restaurants were not finished. The pool area is gorgeous and the beach even better. Can't say enough about the friendly people and everyone at the Marriott was ready to please. Only a few of us there so we all got special attention. The island is a little piece of paradise and I miss it already. Back home to a snow shower but what can you do? Enjoy it while you can...
