We just returned from a week in St. Kitts. We stayed at the Marriott. What a great place. The people were extremely nice and helpful.
To make it short and sweet.....You need to pack a bathing suit and a change of clothes in your carry-on bag. We did not get our luggage when we arrived in St. Kitts until late the next day, so we kind of lost a day of relaxing at the pool because of not having a bathing suit. It is no big deal, just make sure you go to customs in St. kitts and fill out a form that you have not recieved your luggage and they will deliver it to you at your hotel.
One thing that is a must to do while on St. Kitts is the Spirit of St. Kitts Catamaran tour. What a great group of people. You leave St. Kitts around 9:30 sail to a place to snorkle for about an hour, then go on to Nevis where they have lunch prepared for you. All drinks and food are included in the $85US cost. Well worth the money!!
Also for all the people coming from the US. You have to tone down and really try to RELAX. These people are not operate under the same time schedule as we do. They hurry at nothing. It is not a word in their vocabulary. But, I found this somewhat nice. It really helped me relax and enjoy my vacation, instead of always being worried about time. Just RELAX man!! (I was told that several times)
Go and have a great time!! Any questions about the Marriott....Post and I will try to answer. It is a wonderful resort, and I can only imagine what it will be like when it is completely open. The pools are GREAT!! Happy hour at the pool is from 4-6. 2 for 1 frozen drinks! Take advantage of it!!
