Returned on 05-02-03 from Marriott in St. Kitts. The following were open: work out facility, casino, two restaurants, lobby bar, pool bar and snack area. A jewlery and convenience store were also opened. Entire resort was absolutely gorgeous...although I've seen better beaches. The beach itself was wonderful (had plenty of chaises and huts) but it also had an awful lot of seaweed (stringy, grassy type) both in the water and along the shoreline. The Marriott did try to remove it almost daily. I'm a pool person so the beach situation didn't bother me. The only downfall, in my opinion, is the location of the Marriott. There is only 1 restaurant within walking distance, all others require a $20 cab ride. Hopefully, over time and with growing tourism, more establishments will open surrounding the Marriott. The rooms, service, and employee attitudes were all first rate.
