The rooms had standard 120V power, just like the U.S. No adapters necessary.

Yes. The room also included a small refridgerator, hair dryer, coffee maker and free safe.
Also the television included most every major U.S. cable TV channel including HBO and the network affiliate channels from Miami.
> Did the Marriott supply beach towels?
Yes, there's a towel hut by the main swimming pool. Towels are free, just sign them out and return them.
> Do you recommend anywhere for nightlife--clubs, dancing, etc.?
We didn't go anywhere for nightlife beyond restaurants and the casino. We got the impression there wasn't much nightlife or clubs beyond bars.
> Did the Marriott have any dancing or scheduled events while you were there?
The Marriott has a regular activities schedule posted every day on the activity board. You can see the board in the bottom right corner of the photo of the view from our room. They also have a daily newsletter that includes the activities and a summary of the New York Times.
Daily activities included pool games, exercise groups, tours of the resort, tennis tourney, shuffleboard tourney, horseshoe tourney, kids activities, etc. Note, all of the activities were during the day, nothing at night.
