My husband & I visited both St Kitts and Nevis this past April. We stayed at Hurricane Bungalows and LOVED IT - can't wait to go back. Had one with a private pool and a deck overlooking the water. Keep in mind, the bungalows are open air, no a/c and NOT fancy. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings and having a leisurely breakfast. Nevis had some great restaurants and nice beaches, especially for long walks. Very laid back place.
