Just a quick preview with a longer report and plenty of pictures to follow.
Spent last week at the Marriott and it is fabulous!
Had an ocean view room in the Villas, no prob with AC.
Service was great all over. Cleo and Shawn at the pool bar rock!
Pools are fabulous. Not sure about the swimming comment earlier. I swam in all three pools with no problem. There is a deeper section in each pool that is fine for swimming.
Food was good to very good. Steak restaurant was only dissapointment. And they comped our bill.
Ate at Marshall's (Great), Sunshines (Fabulous), Ottley's (Ok, a bit overpriced), Ballyhoo (Fine), BamBu (Fun and resonable), Dolce Cabana (Good), Italian at the resort (Very Good), and Calypso (Great CC Sandwich)
Casino - Well we liked it, won close to $1300 over ou stay playin BJ a couple of hours each night. 32 hours of play between 2 people with an average bet of $8 got us a $50 comp and a promise of $65 room for our next stay.
Rented a car and had no problems. Drove all over the island.
Spent a day in Nevis (most of it at Sunshines!)
