We stayed in a 2 bedroom with pool (Pelican) at Hurricane Bungalows in April and loved it. We had some mosquitos in the evening, but not too bad. Our deck was right over the water - pelicans flew by so close to the deck and we had lots of birds visit for breakfast. It is not for everyone though because it is fairly rustic. The floor is like an outside deck (boards with space between them) and the unit is all open-air. We loved it and will stay there again. We enjoyed the food at Gallipot, Golden Rock and Sunshines. Toured the island and hiked with Jim who was knowledgable about plants and animals on the island.(Top to Bottom is the business name, I think.) Loved the Botanical Gardens and lunch at the restaurant there.
