Thanks for the note; as a side comment, I was in the Caymans diving the week before our Freeport trip; I stayed at a place called the Cobalt Coast - exactly the opposite of the Freeport establishments - very well ran with a focus on service.

Regarding the overall customer service of those working on the island: I couldn't agree with you more. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Royal Oasis Holiday Inn Sunspree and we ran into the same poor service, both within our resort and at EVERY restaurant we ate at.
Considering tourism is their dominant industry, one would think the service would be among the best. I was very disappointed...so much that I would definitely think twice about visiting Freeport.
