I just stayed at Atlantis in the Royal Towers. (The other side of the resort - beach and coral towers have a lot of kids) Royal Towers and area around are more upscale then the other side of the resort, and very nice - not a lot of kids. I recommend staying at Atlantis - the pool is AMAZING and the beach is wonderful. We were there over Memorial Weekend and we were surprised how uncrowded it is for a resort. If you can afford to stay at The Ocean Club (www.oceanclub.com) it is all adult, and the most beautiful place on earth!
