JOIN THE FUN AT JOLLY BEACH RESORT DURING
THE 36TH ANTIGUA SAILING WEEK


ST JOHNS, Antigua (March 18, 2003) – Sailing enthusiasts and landlubbers alike won’t want to miss the Caribbean’s largest regatta, the 36th Antigua Sailing Week, April 27th through May 3rd, 2003. In addition to five exciting yacht races – and this year, the First Annual Bareboat Challenge Championship Race -- spectators can enjoy a high tide of activities, hosted parties and entertainment including the Great Dickenson Bay Beach Bash on opening day, the Jolly Harbour Marina Official Party, and the Lord Nelson Ball where the lucky winners receive their prizes. 

The island’s 462-room Jolly Beach Resort, located next door to the Jolly Harbour Marina, provides an exceptional all-inclusive value to vacationers on-island for this premiere week of yachting and celebrations. The resort is set on a scenic 40-acre estate with a mile of superb white sand beach and a huge signature Fantasy Pool that includes waterfalls and a Jacuzzi. When guests aren’t taking in the parade of luxury sailboats during Sailing Week they’ll also enjoy tennis courts, a fitness center, a cyber center, the Kidz Club, the unique “Hammock Lounge” and a choice of five varied restaurants and seven bars. 

All-inclusive rates start at $140 per person, per night based on double occupancy April 16, 2003 through December 20, 2003 for Standard accommodation. All rates include accommodations, all taxes, all meals, snacks and afternoon tea, house brand beverages, non-motorized watersports, activities and entertainment. Children 3-11 years sharing a room with two adults pay $38 per child, per night.
Organized by the Antigua Hotel & Tourist Association and supported by the Antigua and Barbuda Department of Tourism and the Antigua Yacht Club, Sailing Week has become Antigua's biggest tourism attraction, and one of the top regattas in the world. And with 215 entries representing 27 countries participating in last year’s regatta, Antigua Sailing Week is a truly international event.
