THE ENGLISH HARBOUR INN REOPENS NEWLY REFURBISHED RESORT

The Inn at English Harbour is pleased to announce the reopening of our newly refurbished resort.

LOCATION

A unique and friendly beachfront hotel, which sits on ten acres of wooded headland. Situated on the south eastern side of the island, The Inn overlooks the historical Nelson's Dockyard, and is within walking distance of Shirley Heights and Dow Hill Interpretation Center, two other historical sites in English Harbour.

MANAGEMENT

In July, 1999, the property changed ownership from the Deeths, an English family who owned the property for over thirty years, to the Addaris, an Italian family, who fell in love with the property and wanted to invest in Antigua. Over US$20 million was spent refurbishing the property and upgrading it to a five star level.

THE PROPERTY

3 two storey buildings comprising 16 rooms were demolished and replaced by 3 courtyard style two storey building comprising 24 luxurious suites. Four rooms were left directly on the beach, and 6 hillside rooms overlooking the ocean. The hotel now has a total of 34 rooms, a free form swimming pool, gym, 2 restaurants and 2 tennis courts with five aside football facilities.
