Caribbean Star Airlines Sponsors Antigua Carnival 2K4

Coolidge, Antigua, (July 21, 2004) -- With Antigua Carnival scheduled to take place during July 23rd-August 3rd, 2004 Caribbean Star Airlines has been named a Platinum Sponsor of “The Greatest Summer Festival” for the third consecutive year.

The airline has increased flights into Antigua for this celebration and is also offering all-inclusive Star Vacations packages, to the many regional carnival lovers expected to travel to Antigua during this period. These packages are inclusive of airfare, accommodation, optional meals-and transfers for one affordable fee to several of Antigua’s beautiful hotels and resorts.

Acting Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Edward Gilkes said, “Since its inception in 2000 the Airline has sponsored several major festivals such as St. Kitts Music Festival, St. Lucia Jazz Festival and St. Vincent Carnival. Reports from the CDC stated that this year’s Carnival celebrations promise to be the best in the 47 year history of the annual event with new sound and lighting technology.
